Abstract: Dreams Come True

I sat on the rock, as the stream rushed by,

offering its song as it passed.

Except for few powerful rays,

The redwoods blocked most of the sunlight.

It was a scene from one of my dreams,

but this was true.

Beauty comes to life,

on the southern slope of Mount Hood.

I am a writer and artist in the early stages of my trek. I spent 20 years trying to be who I thought I needed to be, and now I am running after who I am. Fearless Grit is my space to document and share the process.
