Hey y’all. I haven’t gone anywhere, just trying to figure out school and work and this blog.

Squarespace - the company I use to host this website- continues to increase the price of its service. Starting September 23rd, my new per month price will be $27, which is ridiculous. And even if I purchased a whole year upfront, it would still be well over $200 per year. (Remember, for those who might want to tell me “Google says Sqaurespace is only $16/month: most internet pricing is for new customers. Eff the loyal customer, eh?)

It’s a bit of work, but I am working on a platform switch to continue blogging. At the moment, I will use Medium at a cost of $60/year. Yeah. You read that right. Shoot. I drive two miles out of my way to go to the ghetto gas station. Gotta keep my head on a swivel and go about my business, but it’s worth the savings. So I will gladly fumble through a few hours of technical work to save some big money. My wallet doth not overflow and every little bit helps.
